KARE FOR KIDS

Our Lenten Project was to help purchase building supplies to construct a new daycare centre for 173 children, affected by AIDS, in Benoni, South Africa. A project of the Division of World Outreach of Middlesex Presbytery, $120,000 will be needed to provide the children and staff with a new building-complete with indoor washing and toilet facilities.

Strathroy United Church has raised $6,025. We passed our goal of $5,000. Donations will still be received.

SUNDAY SCHOOL CHILDREN: Thank you to the Sunday School children, families, teachers, and the congregation who supported our classroom Kare for Kids goal to raise $173 for the 173 children. Last week our total was $200; we met our goal and exceeded it .

Thank you on behalf of the children at the Day Care Centre.
